Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire a Junior Accountant at Al Ghazi Al Aufi Company LLC to join our expanding team.

  • Preparing sales quotations, invoices, receipts and updating the same in the accounting system.
  • Review and process reimbursements.
  • Coordinate relevant financial transactions and other financial activities including the processing of purchase orders and the payment of invoices.
  • Ability to liaise, co-ordinate and communicate effectively with all company departments as well as internal and external parties.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Prepare the weekly update for all receivables.
  • Prepare payments for processing and posting the same in the system.
  • Reconcile all bank payments and submit the reconciliation for approval.
  • Assisting senior accountant in preparing financial reports.

  • Qualifications and Certification

  • BSc degree in Finance / Accounting.
  • Two years experience in the Accounting field.
  • Ability to handle business correspondences.
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
  • Ability to read, analyze & interpret information.
  • Ability to work in detail and good organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills related to tax preparation, review and compliance.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
