The Accountant is responsible for processing, recording, updating and reconciling accounting transactions with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with the company methods and policies ensuring the integrity of accounting information.

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire a Accountant at Khansaheb Civil Engineering L.L.C. to join our expanding team.

  • Cash & Bank including bank reconciliations
  • Processing of Receipts & Payments – Local & Overseas
  • Supplier Bill Processing & Data Entry
  • Responding to supplier & Sub-Contract payment queries
  • Employee Leave & Final settlements
  • Project Site Petty cash processing
  • Fixed Asset register maintenance
  • Expense Analysis and passing of entries
  • Passing of Journal entries & posting
  • GL Account reconciliations
  • Handling audit queries
    • Preferences: Candidate with prior experience in a construction or FM company preferred.

    Qualifications and Certification

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all level within the organization.
  • Work with minimum supervision and able to work under pressure efficiently.
  • Able to join immediately preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills related to tax preparation, review and compliance.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
