A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of “Inventory Controller”.
Submitting monthly reports of consumption, receipt, Stock ageing etc. to concerned departments. Part Number creation and maintenance for Consumable items. Looking after VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory).
Co-ordination with Quantity Surveyors and Cost controllers for Back-chargeable/T&M (Time and Material) issues and cost code re-allocations upon request. Provide assistance to Internal and External auditors with documentary support.
Stock adjustments in ERP system for Lamprell Stock discrepancies. Providing assistance with much needed documents for internal and external audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

Exercising control over inventory material by putting them to maximum utilization by way of transfers, project surplus return.

Conducting periodic internal audits, managing annual external audits.

Aged material management and submission of reports to Finance Department effectively and efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and policies.

Ensure compliance to HSES policies and procedures as applicable.

Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.

Key Performance Indicator:

Constantly monitor system to maintain the desirable levels of inventory and to achieve the targeted 10% inventory reduction.

Report Dashboard findings to Manager

Undergo HSE trainings from time to time to meet requirements of the assigned job in yard

Ensure that no one bypasses the procedural quality requirements in all Warehouse related activities and conduct periodic in-house audits

Reduce the inventory value by 10%

Qualifications and Certification

A Bachelor’s degree with good communication skills.

Good experience in the Management of inventory.

Minimum 7 years’ experience in the oil and gas construction industry

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and able to work in extreme climatic conditions.

Documentation, computer operation, procedures & systems skills.

Able to demonstrate leadership competence.

Able to relate well at all levels; conscientious, thorough

Must:

We are looking for right candidates who are good in numbers as critical role of inventory controller is calculate the right accurate demand.

Candidate with “Inventory planner/controller” related experience to planning/replenishment and inventory control.
