Desired Candidate Profile

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant who will undertake the major responsibilities of the company Accounts department which includes balance sheets, profit & loss statements, examining & analyzing the company’s accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting, other standard accounting procedures and necessary financial reports. Follows the major duties & responsibilities involved in this position.

Perform bookkeeping and accounting for a wide number of clients simultaneously.

Prepare and submit VAT filing.

Perform liaising with clients and auditors.

Ensure all transactions are accounted including documentation (invoices, supporting documentation).

Ensure and support compliance and accurate on time filings including supporting documentation (VAT, annual/quarterly filings, audit)

Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of

Conduct and Ethics policies

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications / Selection Criteria for Role

Semi qualified professional or Post Graduate in Accountancy.

2 -3 years experience in the Financial Accounts Department

Experience in accounting and eCommerce financial field.

Fluent in English verbal and written.

Knowledge of MS office tools (Excel and Word).

Knowledge of Oracle Fusion.
