Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed analysis of COGS and inventory accounts.

Prepare various inventory and cost accounting entries and related reconciliations.

Provide accurate and timely inventory and costing reports to the business partners.

Assist with audits, and related analysis.

Responsible for physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.

Assist in preparation of Budgets and Forecasts.

Create various presentations for updates at various categories.

Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.

Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers.

Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis.

Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends.

Create business reports that provide insight into key data points.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders

Advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, data merges, filters, etc.) required.

Understanding of the concepts, practices, systems, and terminology of inventory management.
