Distinguished Real Estate (DRE) was established in the year 2003, locally owned by one of the prominent family members in UAE. A self-owned Property Management Services, a developer of high-rise buildings for residential and Commercial purposes, and managed all our other properties such as Villas, Warehouses, Labor Camps both in Dubai and Sharjah.

We are looking for a General Accountant at Distinguished Real Estate with practical knowledge and experience of the UAE Tax & Excise tax Legislation with an Industrial / Manufacturing background. One must have a comprehensive understanding of the principles of VAT/TAX and the application of the legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual ones.

Responsible for the accounting operations of the company.

Preparation and submission of FTA VAT return.

Preparation of VAT Reconciliation Report.

Preparation of monthly aging reports.

Posting and Processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliations

Preparing outstanding accounts payables & Receivables and ensuring proper work delegation for recoveries and payments.

Prepare and maintain accounts receivable, accounts payable, and petty cash transactions.

Perform any job-related activities as the line manager /management requested.

Qualifications and Certification

Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce

Professional Qualification: ACCA or CA

Competencies Knowledge and application of IFRS standards (15)

Experience: 3-4 Years

Nationality: Arab Nationals
