    Desired Candidate Profile

    Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports for our companies. Audit financial reports for compliance and Review Company’s financial status to ensure there are no discrepancies. Uses their accounting expertise to guide their client’s financial plans and ensure all tax activities are compliant with provincial and federal regulations. Their duties include planning taxes, auditing accounts, and recommending solutions to accounting issues.

  • Consolidating business financial performance, budgets, and forward-looking forecasts.
  • Should be able to independently handle statutory audit for various entities located in different jurisdiction as well as at group level.
  • Should be able to assist local teams with complex audit issues.
  • Building the financial models and the reporting and analysis of business unit.
  • Identify, analyses and communicate current trends and their impact on forward-looking financial forecasts and investigate variances against historic and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making towards the Group strategic plan
  • Own the delivery of the month-end and quarterly reporting including management packs, revenue performance reviews, variance analysis and contextual commentary for submission to the Senior Leadership team.
  • Ad hoc duties as required by the business.
  • Qualifications / Selection Criteria for Role

  • Experience in preparation of financial statements with notes to accounts
  • Experience in handling group audits
  • Expert in IFRS
  • Expert in group level accounting concepts acquisition and disposals accounting, impairment reviews, assets valuations
  • Experience working within a group reporting function is essential
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills excel, power point, word etc.
