Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking to hire a Assistant Finance Manager at Mace to join our expanding team. You will work and provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.
Reconciling and preparing schedules for each balance sheet account and ensuring they are in line with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Assisting in the month-end and year-end closing activities for the whole Mace Operate Group.
Assisting in the preparation or review of tax returns for the whole Mace Operate Group which will include transaction analyses, gathering supporting documentation and coordinating with 3rd party tax consultants.
Supporting the preparation of annual statutory financial accounts which includes a statement of financial position, financial performance and cash flows.
Assisting with a yearly budget and monthly forecasts.
Working capital management, (including forecasting and intercompany reconciliations).
Contributing to continually improving the finance processes and procedures.
Maintaining a good working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
Continuing to be flexible and adaptable to the rapid expansion and changing needs of the business.
Qualifications and Certification
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
Have ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA or a relevant degree
Hands on experience of 3+ years SAP and Oracle (Hyperion)
Excellent Communication skills
Ability to work independently
Analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong technical skills related to tax preparation, review and compliance.
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
