Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire a Accountant at Enerpac Tool Group to join our expanding team. You will work and provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

  • Ensure preparation of monthly Financial Accounts in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ensure preparation of Statutory Accounts in accordance with local GAAP.
  • Maintenance of the entity balance sheet in accordance with required entity level controls. Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal/ external audit requirements for all designated control accounts.
  • Responsibility for processing and paying Payroll (monthly) within the established deadlines.
  • Work with the bank including processing the payments, completing reports for hedging purposes, etc.
  • Ensure intercompany balances are recorded correctly to have no material differences at month end.
  • Perform work on accounting of property, fixed assets, liabilities and business operations, settlements with suppliers and customers, as well as for provided services, etc.
  • Coordinate invoicing and maintaining accruals.
  • Receive and monitor primary documentation for relevant accounting areas and prepare them for accounting processing.
  • Work with suppliers and customers to provide them with the necessary information and account reconciliation, within their competence.
  • Responsible for working with external and internal auditors to ensure that all accounts are prepared to the company’s standards.
  • Stewardship of the Oracle Financial modules for the entity.
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
  • Tax fillings and compliance.
  • Any other tasks as maybe required by the Senior Management Team (Finance Manager and/ or Finance Director and other).
  • Ensure all HSSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the Organization. Proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the businesses in particular ensure that Health & Safety comes first at all times

  • Qualifications and Certification

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Proven experience 2 – 3 years in accounts – preferred in UAE
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills related to tax preparation, review and compliance.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
