Desired Candidate Profile & About Us

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire an Accountant at Tesco Corporation to join our expanding team. You will work and provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

Assist in monthly close process and ensure proper documentation and filing of support information.

Assist in calculating and preparing journal entries for local transactions as indicated in the monthly close checklist.

Assist in review of monthly financial statements and assist in preparation of variance analysis against forecast and prior month.

Assist in preparation of balance sheet reconciliation.

Assist in management of audit (internal, external and statutory)

Assist in operational financial and capital analysis.

Assist in preparation of inter-company reconciliation.

Preparation of accounting and administration reports as and when needed.

Assist with/coordinate special projects as and when needed.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Certification

University degree (Accounting, Finance ); preference for professional qualification i.e. ACCA, CPA, CA or CMA

4 or more years in Finance or Accounting.

Oracle & Hyperion experience preferred.

Multinational business familiarity essential.

Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.

Ability to work independently.

Analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong technical skills related to tax preparation, review and compliance.

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
