Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire a Accountant at Baalbaki Chemical Industries (BCI) to join our expanding team. You will work and provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

  • Properly control and classify TB accounts
  • Issue and register e-invoices in the portal, Lean reconciliation and bank transactions journal entries
  • Prepare local treasury operations including cash management forex transactions
  • Regulate Costs and Expenses including bank charges
  • Achieve negotiating insurance policies including credit insurance
  • Assist in collections and achieve monthly collection targets
  • Co-managed all files related to bad debts and the recovery process
  • Prepare customer receivables including the establishment of customer credit limits and ensure customer KYCs are kept up-to-date/li>
  • Prepare weekly collection reports, customer collections, and bounced checks; and take ownership of collection targets
  • Manage the monthly bank reconciliation for Customer/Vendor
  • Responsible for the preparation of GEKAP
  • Responsible for expenses, purchasing invoices and import/export files’ entries
  • Arrange the external accountant file and reconciliation of financial statements with an external accountant

  • Qualifications and Certification

  • University degree (Accounting, Finance ); Masters is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills related to tax preparation, review and compliance.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
