Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant at Oscar Lubricants UAE to join our expanding team.
We are looking a general account assistant with an analytical mind and fantastic organizational skills. Accountants are expected to be detail oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.

  • Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
  • Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
  • Research and analyze expense variances for company management
  • Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
  • Recording and filing cash transactions.
  • Controlling credit and chasing debt.
  • Invoice processing and filing.
  • Bank reconciliation.

  • Qualifications and Certification

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • 10+ years’ of professional accounting experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Must be capable of working in a team environment.
  • Able to join immediately preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills related to tax preparation, review and compliance.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
