Desired Candidate Profile & About Us

The main purpose of the role is to support the accounting department with general bookkeeping including, updating financial records, and managing spreadsheets and assisting with accounts receivable and payables.

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

Our client is reputed company based in Dubai and dealing in telecom products. They are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join them as Senior Finance Executive to join their team. The candidate should be having knowledge about UAE VAT. They should also have experience with MIS and IFRS. Good Excel skills will be an advantage as also good communication skills.

Assist in the daily accounting works for Top Vantage Group

To perform Depreciation and Amortization entries in Zoho

Issue Tax Invoices in Zoho

Complete general ledger operations

Follow up Receivables and send weekly receivables ageing report

Assist with month and year end closings

Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts

Assist in Tax Return Filing

Prepare analysis of accounts as requested

Proper documentation and filing of Financial records

Maintain confidentiality of financial transactions

Assist in any other tasks related to finance and accounting as assigned by Finance Manager

Qualification / Selection Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and CA from India is preferred

Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Knowledge of financial reporting

Knowledge of local laws regarding accounting, finances and taxation

Technical accounting skills

Previous experience of general accounting (3-4 years)

Proficiency in relevant accounting software

Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
