    Desired Candidate Profile

    Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience of working in petty cash and Accounts Departments
  • To receive, record and deposit cheques into the Company’s banks.
  • To ensure correctness of invoices from stores & suppliers before posting in the Accounts Payable system.
  • Preparation of daily cash vouchers.
  • Posting of Store, PRO & other related petty cash vouchers.
  • Preparation of cash for crew food allowance and crew settlements.
  • To review/reconcile daily cash on hand with physical cash.
  • To pass all relevant entries in the accounting system related to cash advances, loans and personal accounts of crews and staff and to clear information related to each such transaction.
  • To ensure all data for each transaction in the petty cash reconciled on a daily basis.
  • To request and arrange for required cash for the day.
  • Handle all matters related to payments/ transfers/ accounting for family members and charities/ donations.
  • To perform other Accounts Department related works on ad-hoc basis.
  • To verify invoices, vouchers or other documents that may be incomplete or inconsistent
  • To communicate directly with the people having and handling petty cash for replenishment.
  • Should have experience in Marine
  • Qualifications / Selection Criteria for Role

  • Any Graduation
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Keen attention to detail who can handle work pressure without affecting quality of work
  • Process driven, well organized, with great self- work organization skills to ensure timely performance of work
  • Confidential and trustworthy individual with a strong personal background
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge is required with particular emphasis on knowing advanced Excel Education And Experience
