Desired Candidate Profile

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills and must be a good team player. Reporting to the Immediate Supervisor, the Accountant will be responsible for:

Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.

Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.

Provide technical support and advice to the Financial Reporting Team.

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

Manage/Supervise AP/AR and Junior Accountants.

Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.

Provide input into department's goal setting process.

Prepare financial statements according to schedule.

Assist with any tax audits and tax returns.

Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Planassign and review staff's work.

Lead month-end and year-end close process.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles.

Liaise with Group Accounting Team, providing answers to any queries they have in a timely manner.

Qualifications / Selection Criteria for Role

The successful candidate for this Senior Accountant role will have a professional accounting qualification and a degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.

Minimum of UAE 3-5 years of financial accounting experience in the real estate industry.

ERPs and excel is plus for this role.

Age: Between 25 to 35 years
